N.I.C.E Bistronome takes its cue from Nice, the Mediterranean city where French and Italian cooking meet. It occupies a shoplot in Section 17, Petaling Jaya, with a dark, low-lit dining room of rust banquettes and warm strip lighting, and the menu runs all day so you can drop in for lunch or stay late. Head chef Kenny Tang leads the kitchen.
The August 2026 menu leans French. Order escargots in garlic herb butter (or try the 60-snail challenge), pan-seared foie gras, French onion soup or a Niçoise salad to start. Mains include duck leg confit with ratatouille, bouillabaisse with saffron aïoli, steak haché with green peppercorn sauce and braised lamb shank, while a beef Wellington and a fuller bouillabaisse are sized for sharing. The Italian side of Nice shows in burrata with figs, arancini and a page of pastas.
It works for groups and casual celebrations; many dishes come as sharing plates. Book by WhatsApp. Finish with a canelé bordeaux or a madeleine, and look out for wine dinners.
