Restaurant Petrus occupies the 56th floor of Island Shangri-La above Pacific Place, and the view across Victoria Harbour is part of the experience. The room is grand and traditional, with chandeliers and frescoed ceilings, and the restaurant holds one star in the 2026 Michelin Guide Hong Kong. Its cellar is known for some 45 vintages of Château Pétrus going back to 1928.
The 2026 summer menus lean on luxury produce cooked with classic French technique. Dinner runs to five or eight courses, featuring caviar with Noirmoutier potato and vin jaune, blood pigeon with apricot and almond, and a bouillabaisse. At lunch you might find Atlantic cod with asparagus and white wine, followed by a croissant-dough French toast with apricot and pear.
It suits anniversaries, business lunches and anyone wanting a view with dinner. Lunch runs from HK$588 for two courses; dinner menus are HK$1,988 and HK$2,788. Dress is smart casual with covered shoes and no shorts. Reserve by phone or via the WhatsApp line.
