LALA opened on Lyndhurst Terrace in early 2025, pairing chef Franckelie Laloum, formerly of the Michelin-starred Louise at PMQ, with restaurateur Michael Larkin. The room mixes leather banquettes, marble tables and bold murals, and it stays open from lunch through to late dinner.
The vol-au-vent LALA, a flaky pastry case with sweetbreads (lately with blue lobster on the set menu), is the signature, alongside a duck and poultry pâté en croûte and parsley-garlic frogs' legs. For mains, share the roast yellow chicken with Koshihikari rice or a côte de boeuf. Natalie Leung's pastries, from Paris-Brest to strawberry éclairs, are worth saving space for.
It suits a date, a client lunch or a long dinner with friends. The weekday set lunch is HK$358 and a set dinner runs HK$888, with brunch and late-night menus too. Book via SevenRooms, by email or on WhatsApp; there is a children's menu for families.
