Cocotte has been grilling on Sukhumvit 39 since 2016, in a rustic, warmly lit ground-floor room at the base of a residential tower. The kitchen is built around open fire and a rotisserie, and the team talks up local farm suppliers and seasonal produce. It reopened after a renovation in mid-2026 with a refreshed menu.
The draw is the meat: the Wagyu tomahawk from 1.4kg is carved for the table and comes with three sauces, and the marinated farmer chicken is sold by the half or whole. French staples hold up the rest of the list, from escargots in garlic and parsley butter and house chicken liver mousse to beef tartare à la parisienne and a Wagyu Wellington. Order the aligot and the cauliflower gratin on the side, and finish with profiteroles in hot chocolate sauce.
It works best for groups who want to share big plates and open a few bottles, and for meat-focused celebrations. Expect a lively, casual room rather than formal service. Booking is sensible at weekends; it opens daily from 11am, so lunch is an option too.
