Margo opened in mid-2025 in a sunlit house on Soi Naradhiwas 10 in Sathorn, run by chef-owner Wilfrid Hocquet, who previously cooked in Monaco, New York and Bangkok fine dining. The room has warm wood, booth seating, an open kitchen, a long bar for drop-ins and a wine cellar behind the main dining room. It entered the Michelin Guide Thailand 2026 as Michelin Selected and took the guide's Opening of the Year award.
The menu changes with the seasons and leans on French bistro classics with some Italian-style pasta alongside. Start with chicken liver mousse, foie gras terrine or beef tartare, then try the beef tomato farcie with Wagyu, the Paris ham and Comté pithiviers with black truffle sauce, or poached chicken with vin jaune. Larger cuts include a flat iron steak with Kampot pepper sauce and Challans duck breast for two. Desserts include flan au caramel and pear clafoutis.
It suits a relaxed date or a group dinner with good wine. It is open daily for dinner and for lunch at weekends. Book through Bistrochat or LINE, as tables fill quickly. There is free parking, and prices are subject to 7% VAT and 10% service.
