Maison Dunand occupies a house on a quiet Sathorn lane, dressed like a modern alpine chalet with warm timber and low lighting. Chef Arnaud Dunand Sauthier, who previously ran the kitchen at Le Normandie, built the place around memories of growing up in Savoie and summers in Brittany, and it holds one Michelin star in the 2026 Thailand guide.
The format is a seasonal tasting menu that changes with the produce, mixing French and Japanese imports with Thai artisan ingredients: high-pasture dairy, cold-water fish, rye and buckwheat all feature. Seafood and game get careful, sauce-led treatment. Leave room for the cheese trolley, which carries more than 20 mostly French cheeses, and let the sommelier work through a cellar weighted towards Savoie and Alsace.
This suits anniversaries and long, unhurried dinners. Lunch runs only on Friday and Saturday and starts from about B2,950++, with dinner from B4,950++. Vegetarians are catered for with 48 hours' notice, but vegan and dairy-free diets are not. Valet parking is available.
