Chez Suzette sits on the corner of Teck Lim Road, a short walk from Keong Saik. Founders Suzette and Jonathan met while working for Joël Robuchon, and they run the place as a relaxed all-day bistro with a pale, airy dining room, a few outdoor tables and a small shelf of goods from local makers.
The namesake dessert is the reason many people come: thin crêpes in buttery orange sauce, flambéed tableside with Grand Marnier for a small extra charge. Before that, order escargots in garlic and herb butter, the house duck confit on ratatouille, or steak frites made with grass-fed Black Angus ribeye and mushroom sauce. Daytime brings brunch plates such as croque monsieur and salmon eggs Benedict, and a côte de bœuf for sharing appears as a regular promotion.
It suits a casual date, a weekend brunch or a glass of wine late in the evening, with free-flow rosé and prosecco offers on some days. Book through SevenRooms or WhatsApp. A second Chez Suzette operates in Clark, Philippines.
