JARD'OR sits inside the Bali Collection complex in Nusa Dua, with a garden terrace, an indoor bar and a dark, candlelit dining room. The team describes it as a French fusion brasserie: southern French cooking and generous service, with Indonesian ingredients and spices worked into the dishes. Head chef Ketut leads the kitchen.
Start with the foie gras terrine with apple compote and fig baguette, or French onion soup. Mains cover canard à l'orange with blood orange and cognac reduction, a beef-cheek boeuf bourguignon with cauliflower mousseline, poulet Gaston Gérard and herb-crusted Tasmanian salmon with smoked tarragon beurre blanc. The Tournedos Rossini puts foie gras on wagyu tenderloin, and the grill section offers Canadian prime ribeye, chateaubriand-cut wagyu and prime rib with béarnaise or au poivre. Finish with tarte Tatin.
It suits a romantic dinner or a celebration, and diners mention a live saxophonist in the evenings. There is a set lunch, Le Déjeuner, plus all-day, kids' and set menus. Book on Chope or WhatsApp. Prices carry 10% service and 11% tax.
