Entrecôte Brasserie brings a dark, Paris-inspired dining room to Jalan Nelayan, a short walk from Batu Bolong. Red leather banquettes, brass lamps and mirrored walls give it the feel of a city brasserie rather than a beach café, and it opens from late afternoon until midnight every day.
The house set is the reason to come: sliced baguette, a walnut salad, a 200g striploin in the kitchen's secret sauce and unlimited hand-cut fries, with an upgrade to King River wagyu. Starters include wagyu beef tartare with potato crisps, French onion soup and potato croquettes, while mains run to coq au vin, barramundi with sauce grenobloise and ratatouille. Larger appetites can order a wagyu ribeye with Café de Paris or peppercorn sauce. Desserts stay classic, with crème brûlée, chocolate mousse and crème caramel.
It works well for a date or an unhurried dinner with friends. The wine list leans on Chapoutier, Joseph Drouhin and Bordeaux, and there is a full cocktail menu. Bookings are taken on WhatsApp. Prices are subject to tax and service.
